The Great Sandy Straits Marina is located in the Urangan boat Harbour at Hervey Bay. We have 176 berths and cater for 8-30m vessels. Our Marina is situated on the doorstep of the whale watch capital in Queensland and is a perfect place to visit as you explore the beautiful sheltered waters of Hervey Bay and the Great Sandy Marine Park. The Great Sandy Straits Marina overlooks the beautiful world heritage listed Fraser Island and is a warm and friendly marina well serviced by buses, with the airport located a short 10minutes away. Our facilities include toilets, showers, laundry and designated members parking. We also have a hire car available at reasonable rates. We have commercial operators who offer a range of whale watching, fishing and adventure tours.
