Fishguard Harbour Marina is situated in the sheltered lower harbour at Fishguard in Pembrokeshire, north Wales, on the western shore of Fishguard Bay. Fishguard is a natural staging point for passages between the Irish Sea, the south Irish coast and the Bristol Channel, and the harbour offers refuge from the Atlantic swells that can make the open Pembrokeshire coast challenging. The town of Fishguard is famous as the site of the last invasion of Britain in 1797 and the filming location for the 1971 film of Under Milk Wood.
