Gulf Harbour Marina is New Zealand's largest privately developed marina, situated on the Whangaparaoa Peninsula 40km north of Auckland overlooking the Hauraki Gulf. With 1,300 berths, a golf course and a waterfront village, Gulf Harbour is a complete marina resort. The surrounding Hauraki Gulf offers some of the finest sailing in the Southern Hemisphere — the Coromandel Peninsula, Great Barrier Island and the Bay of Islands are all within easy reach.
