Hartlepool Marina is within the historic dock system of Hartlepool in County Durham on the north-east coast of England, just south of the River Tees. Hartlepool has a rich maritime heritage — HMS Trincomalee, the oldest British warship still afloat, is preserved in the marina's historic quay area alongside a maritime museum. The marina provides secure berthing in a locked basin, well sheltered from the exposed North Sea conditions outside.
