Ipswich Haven Marina is in the wet dock at the heart of Ipswich, Suffolk, on the tidal River Orwell a few miles upstream from the open waters of the Orwell estuary and the wider Haven ports. The Orwell is one of East Anglia's finest sailing rivers, flanked by wooded shores and offering excellent cruising through to Pin Mill, Butterman's Bay and the Stour estuary. The marina sits at the centre of Ipswich's regenerated waterfront — the Wet Dock area, the Waterfront arts quarter, restaurants and shops are all immediately adjacent, with the historic market town beyond.
