On Tjärö there are three guest jettys, beautifully situated in the bay of Maren. The largest jetty has 70 marked places, all with electricity and water.

In the center of the archipelago of Blekinge you find one of the largest islands: Tjärö.

Here, you are surrounded by astonishing nature, an idyllic place at its best. At Tjärö you can find everything from warm bare rocks to deep crevices mixed with beech forest, meadows and grassland. The entire island is a nature reserve with rich vegetation and birdlife.

The guest dock "Maren" on the east side of the island just by the tourist station/125 beds. Conferens rooms, tent site, nature- and hikingtrails, saunaraft, canoe and SUP for rent, good waters for fishing, and a ferry to and from Järnavik (15 min, https://tjaro.com/departure-for-the-ferry/?lang=en). During the high season you will also find ferries between Karlshamn and Tjärö as well as Ronneby and Tjärö (https://www.blekingetrafiken.se/reseinformation/skargardstrafik/). Tjärö is a nature reserve with grazing animals in the pastures, beautiful campsites för barbeque, and open meadows för games, play, and picnics. Quite simply a wonderfull island!
