About

Port Camargue Marina sits at Le Grau-du-Roi in the Gard department, at the eastern edge of the Camargue delta — France's vast wetland nature reserve, famous for white horses, flamingos, and black bulls. It is one of the largest marinas in France and a major hub for the Gulf of Lion sailing area, convenient for passages between the Rhône delta and the western Languedoc coast. The entrance channel through the Petit Rhône mouth requires care in strong onshore winds. The Camargue hinterland offers extraordinary birdwatching and cycling, while the fortified city of Aigues-Mortes is just inland. Stern-to Med mooring is standard.
