Bridport Harbour at West Bay is the small harbour of the Dorset fishing village of West Bay, at the mouth of the River Brit. The harbour entrance is narrow and can be difficult in onshore swells; entry in strong southerly winds is inadvisable. West Bay is a characterful fishing village with excellent fresh seafood. A notable stop on the Jurassic Coast when conditions allow.
