Brusje is a quiet hilltop village on Hvar island, offering a small, peaceful stopping point away from the busy quays of Hvar town. The marina provides basic shelter on the north coast of Hvar, with the island's pine-forested ridgeline rising steeply behind. Hvar's network of lavender fields and ancient stone villages is easily explored from here on foot or by scooter. For cruisers working the central Dalmatian archipelago, Brusje offers a tranquil alternative to the crowded summer anchorages further south. Stern-to Med mooring is the norm on this coast.
