Cebu Yacht Club is located in Cebu City on Cebu island in the central Philippines — the oldest city in the Philippines, founded by Miguel López de Legazpi in 1565, and the site of Magellan's arrival in 1521 and his death at the Battle of Mactan. The club serves the sailing community in the Visayas, whose island-studded seas and reliable trade winds create excellent cruising conditions.
