About

A completely drying harbour: boats sit on sand, silt or mud at low water, so we can only take bilge keels, catamarans or other hulls that stand upright. Access is roughly two hours either side of high water. Maximum length 10 metres, and berths are grouped. We ask that owners live, or have a contact, within about ten miles. Folkestone is primarily a visitor destination — the Harbour Arm has food and drink traders and a busy events programme — and the bay is a sheltered anchorage which is free to use.
