Glasson Dock Marina is in the village of Glasson, Lancashire, at the mouth of the River Lune south of Lancaster, on the eastern shore of Morecambe Bay. Glasson Dock is a tidal basin with a sea-lock, historically an important commercial port serving Lancaster and the Lune Valley. The marina is connected to the Lancaster Canal via a short branch, and visiting boaters can explore the Lune estuary and the distinctive birdlife-rich foreshore of Morecambe Bay. The village has a pub and café, and Lancaster with its castle is just a few miles upstream.
