About

Gorran Haven is a small, sheltered sandy cove on the south Cornish coast between Mevagissey and the Dodman Point headland. The harbour is a traditional fishing community with a slipway and a small number of local boats, and the anchorage in the cove provides good holding in settled southerly and westerly conditions. The village is unspoilt and quiet, with a pub and local facilities. Gorran Haven makes a pleasant stop on passage between Fowey and Falmouth, with the dramatic profile of Dodman Point to the south offering one of Cornwall's most striking coastal landmarks.
