Hornsea Mere is Yorkshire’s largest natural lake, an SSSI and SPA, with over 250 acres of navigable water. Established as the home of Hornsea Sailing Club since 1946, it provides an ideal environment for beginner sailors with a maximum depth of only 2.5 metres.
