About
Kyle of Lochalsh Marina is at the famous narrows where the Scottish mainland is separated from the Isle of Skye by the narrow strait of Loch Alsh, now spanned by the Skye Bridge. Kyle is a traditional rail terminus and ferry point, and the tidal streams through the narrows run strongly. The marina provides access to some of the finest cruising in Scotland — Loch Alsh, Loch Duich, Loch Hourn and the Sound of Sleat open up to the north and east, while Skye, Raasay and the Inner Sound stretch away to the north and west.
