Malindi Marina serves the Indian Ocean resort town of Malindi in Kilifi County, Kenya, one of the earliest East African towns to have direct contact with European explorers — Vasco da Gama stopped here in 1498 and a Portuguese pillar still stands at the harbour entrance.
