About
Marina de A Coruña is the gateway to the famous Galician coast, home to one of Spain's most active sailing communities. The city's headland location gives it excellent exposure to Atlantic winds and the marina serves as a waypoint for boats rounding Cape Finisterre — the traditional "end of the world" and a key landmark on the Atlantic sailing circuit. The Torre de Hércules lighthouse, a UNESCO site and the world's oldest working lighthouse, stands on the headland above the marina.
