Marina Pomer Istria

Marina Pomer occupies a quiet bay on the southern tip of the Istrian peninsula, sheltered from the prevailing winds by the surrounding hills and the bulk of the peninsula itself. The Istrian coast offers a different character to the Dalmatian islands: rolling green countryside, truffles and wine, Roman and Venetian heritage, and calmer, less crowded sailing than the high-summer Adriatic. From Pomer, sailors are well-placed to explore the west Istrian coast toward Rovinj and Poreč, or cross to the northern Adriatic and the Gulf of Venice. Stern-to Med mooring is standard. The bura wind can gust sharply here in winter and spring.
