Marina Trogir is set in the narrow channel between Trogir's UNESCO-listed medieval island and the coast of the island of Čiovo, giving it superb natural shelter and an extraordinary historical setting. Trogir old town — a compact mix of Romanesque, Gothic, and Renaissance architecture — is reached directly from the pontoons. The approach through the channel is straightforward in daylight. Split airport is 7 km away, making Trogir a prime flotilla changeover point. Stern-to Med mooring is standard. The kaštel-dotted bay to the east toward Split offers excellent protected sailing, and the open Adriatic and outer islands lie just south of the Čiovo bridge.
