Marina Vrsar Istria

Marina Vrsar sits in a protected estuary on the western Istrian coast, surrounded by pine-forested hillsides and the art-colony town of Vrsar perched on the ridge above. The coast here is characterised by drowned limestone valleys (limans) that form natural harbours — Vrsar's bay is one of the most sheltered in Istria. The Koversada naturist resort and the Rovinj archipelago are within easy reach to the south. Vrsar is well-connected to the provisioning and services of Poreč to the north. Stern-to Med mooring is standard. Summer breezes from the northwest (maestral) make for pleasant afternoon sailing along this part of the coast.
