About

Martinique Le Carbet Marina is situated in Le Carbet on the western (Caribbean) coast of Martinique, the site where Christopher Columbus is said to have landed in 1502 — the only Caribbean island he visited more than once. The sheltered bay looks toward the volcanic cone of Mount Pelée, which erupted in 1902 and destroyed the former capital of Saint-Pierre in what remains the deadliest volcanic event of the 20th century. Contact the marina directly for availability, rates, and facilities.
