Mesolongi Marina is a marina located in Missolonghi, the historic lagoon city of Western Greece famously associated with Lord Byron who died here in 1824 during the Greek War of Independence, set on the shores of the vast Missolonghi-Aetoliko lagoon — one of the most important wetland habitats in the eastern Mediterranean. The marina provides visiting vessels with access to a city of deep historical resonance and a remarkable natural environment of flamingo flocks and eel fishery stilt huts.
