Our introduction terms (version 2026-10-15)

Being listed on BerthFinder is free, and answering boaters is free, always. When a boater we introduce takes a berth, slip or mooring with you, our fee is 5% of the price the boater pays you for that stay, excluding VAT, GST or other sales tax. That covers any length of stay: a visitor night, a monthly or winter package, a season or an annual contract. There is no minimum fee. A boater counts as introduced by us for 12 months from the enquiry we sent you. This includes a boater whose enquiry we sent you before you agreed these terms. We invoice once a month. Amounts under £20 (or the equivalent in your currency) carry over for up to three months. Nothing is payable for an enquiry, an answer, or a renewal. Marinas on a paid BerthFinder subscription pay no introduction fee; a free trial is not a paid subscription. You can end this arrangement at any time by telling us. Fees on contracts that have already started remain payable. Where no fee has been agreed in writing, none is payable.
