About

Reine is a tiny fishing village on Moskenesøya in the Lofoten Islands, consistently voted Norway's most beautiful village. The harbour is surrounded by dramatic red and yellow rorbuer (traditional fishermen's cabins) set against near-vertical mountain peaks reflected in mirror-calm waters. Now largely a tourism destination, Reine was historically famous for its Arctic cod fishery.
