Šipan Marina Croatia

Šipan Marina lies in the harbour of Šipanska Luka on the largest of the Elaphiti Islands, 22 km northwest of Dubrovnik. Šipan has two main settlements connected by a single road across the island, and a deeply rural, agricultural character — olive groves, vineyards, and stone manor houses from the Ragusan Republic era dominate the landscape. The bay is one of the most sheltered in the Elaphiti chain, and the anchorage off the village is tranquil even in high summer. Stern-to Med mooring is standard. Ferries connect Šipan to Dubrovnik several times daily, and the island remains a favourite with sailors seeking a quieter alternative to the crowds of the mainland coast.
