About our club
Located on the beautiful Bateau Channel, TYC is a friendly, family-oriented, well-run club. We cater primarily to the cruising boater, both sail and power.
Functioning as a yacht club since 1964, we are self-governed by a Board of Directors elected by our members. We have a full-time manager and during the summer boating season, we also have a dock master.
Our grounds, harbour and clubhouse are beautifully kept and our docks are constantly upgraded.

Our Location
Trident Yacht Club (TYC) is a unique yacht club situated in a perfect location on the Bateau Channel in the iconic Thousand Islands.
Whether looking for a short cruise a long distance challenging sail, or anything in between, you can do it all from TYC. With its strong infrastructure, exquisite environment and vibrant social and racing community, TYC is the place to be!

Our Harbour
TYC’s harbour can accommodate 106 vessels. Our finger docks range from 2.5 to 5 feet wide, with lengths up to 44 feet, allowing us to accommodate boats up to 50 feet. Each slip has 110V power (30A) and fresh water. There is a free pump-out station for members. We also have the capacity for up to 45 boats for winter storage.
In 2019, we upgraded our mast stepper so that it can step and de-step masts up to 55′.
We have a full-time manager and during the summer boating season, we also have a Dock Master. Our grounds, harbour and clubhouse are beautifully kept and constantly upgraded.
Our House and Grounds
When visitors come to TYC, the first thing they comment on is our exquisite grounds and wonderful amenities.
Our Clubhouse boasts a large event and meeting space, an enclosed patio area, a functioning bar (Neptune’s Bar), and an industrial-sized kitchen available for use to all members. The outside patio has seating and BBQs for use as well. More BBQs are located on the North Dock Deck and on the Dock Master’s Deck.
Our bathrooms were updated in 2016. They include showers, washrooms as well as a separate handicap washroom for those with physical disabilities.
The flowers which adorn our grounds are all lovingly tendered by our member volunteers and are one of the elements that make our Club seem like a home.
Our Community
TYC is a more than a marina – It is a family-friendly community of both sail and power boaters that call Trident their summer home. It is also a nautical self-help community whose focus remains firmly on enhancing the total boating experience of our membership. We rely on member volunteers to help operate the club.

We know that when you choose a yacht club, you choose a second home, a place to spend your summers, have fun with kids and grandkids…and delight in cruising life…for many years.
It’s also a significant family expense that we also understand needs to be balanced. At Trident, our fees our competitive to local yacht clubs in the local area, as well as the Toronto area.
We believe that we have a wonderful mix of services, culture and amenities that make Trident second to none, at a value that both young families, retirees and working couples alike can afford.
