Vassiliki Marina Lefkada is a marina located in Vassiliki, a small bay on the southern tip of Lefkada island in the Ionian Sea, world-famous among windsurfers and kite-boarders for the reliable thermal winds that funnel down from the mountains each afternoon — the so-called Maistros wind. The port offers visiting vessels a lively waterfront taverna scene, excellent access to the spectacular Porto Katsiki beach, and the wild cape of Doukato where the poet Sappho legendarily leapt.
