Vuda Point Marina on the northwest coast of Viti Levu is Fiji's premier cyclone shelter and a major hub for blue-water cruisers on the Pacific circuit. The marina provides haul-out facilities and is surrounded by tropical gardens. Vuda Point's position inside the reef provides excellent protection during the cyclone season (November-April), and many cruising boats remain here to wait out the season.
