West Mersea is a thriving sailing centre on Mersea Island in the Blackwater Estuary, with a large mooring field, boatyards, and a busy waterfront. Home to the Mersea Island Yacht Club, the harbour offers visitor moorings on the hard and a dinghy park. Famous for Mersea oysters and some of the best sailing on the east coast.
