Garelochhead Marina

Garelochhead Marina sits at the northern end of the Gare Loch in Argyll, Scotland, a narrow sea loch branching off the larger Loch Long in the Firth of Clyde. The Gare Loch is perhaps best known as the home of Faslane Naval Base, the UK's Trident submarine base, which occupies the western shore further down the loch. Despite its proximity to a major military installation, Garelochhead itself is a quiet village with fine views down the loch. The Firth of Clyde and its extensive sailing grounds are within easy reach to the south.
