About

Lamorna Cove is a small, secluded granite cove on the south Cornish coast near Land's End, set in a steep wooded valley between the headlands of Carn Du and Tater Du. The cove has a tiny quay used by local fishing boats and is popular with visitors for its dramatic scenery and complete seclusion. For boaters, the anchorage is only tenable in very settled, offshore conditions due to its exposure to southerly swell. Lamorna was beloved by artists of the Newlyn School and retains an atmosphere of timeless beauty on this ancient, granite-hewn shore.
