About
Lerwick is the capital of Shetland and one of the most northerly ports in the British Isles, sitting 60 miles north of mainland Scotland. The marina offers excellent facilities for visiting vessels in a well-sheltered harbour. Shetland's unique Norse heritage, dramatic seabird colonies, and wild moorland make it a rewarding destination. The Up Helly Aa fire festival in January is one of Europe's largest fire festivals.
