About
Ploče Marina sits at the mouth of the Neretva River delta on the southern Dalmatian coast, in a commercially active port town that serves as the main gateway for traffic from Bosnia-Herzegovina to the sea. The area is characterised by the flat, fertile Neretva delta — famous for its mandarin oranges and eels — with the Pelješac peninsula visible across the water to the southwest. For cruisers, Ploče is primarily a transit stop on the route between Dubrovnik and Split, rather than a destination in itself. Stern-to Med mooring is standard. The Pelješac Bridge, connecting the two parts of Croatia across the Neum corridor, is visible nearby.
