About
Stromboli is one of the most active volcanoes on Earth, erupting every 20-30 minutes around the clock for the past 2,000 years. Visiting by yacht allows a unique perspective — anchoring in the black-sand bay of Scari and watching the volcano's Sciara del Fuoco (flow of fire) from the water at night is an unforgettable experience. The island has no roads and limited facilities; provisions from the other Aeolian Islands.
