Bluff Marina is located at the southernmost town in mainland New Zealand, Bluff in Southland, at the entrance to Foveaux Strait separating the South Island from Stewart Island. The port is famed throughout New Zealand for the Bluff oyster — harvested from the strait's cold, nutrient-rich waters and considered the finest in the country — and serves as the ferry terminus to Stewart Island.
