About

Polperro is a Trust Port which is managed by volunteers elected from the local community. The Trust was established in 1894 and operates without Government funding, relying on mooring fees, property rent, museum income, and donations. The harbour itself is small and tightly enclosed, in the historic village of Polperro on Cornwall's south coast, drying at low water and accessible to shallow-draft vessels, with winding lanes and colourful cottages providing a quintessentially Cornish setting.
